​Personal

Dr. Ferneini is Section Chief of Vascular/Endovascular Surgery at the Midstate Vascular Center. He is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, and the New England Society of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Ferneini was presented multiple times with the “Outstanding Teaching in the Operating Room and Beyond” award by the Hospital of St. Raphael’s graduating chief residents. He was also awarded the 2016 “Edward H. Storer, M.D. award for Excellence in Surgical Teaching” by the Yale graduating chief residents. He is well published and has been cited in many national and international organizations. He attributes his success to his compassion and love for his patients.

Dr. Ferneini is a certified master scuba diver and enjoys diving in exotic locations. He spends his spare time with his wife and daughter.
